Glynis Haines has joined us for the afternoon to think about The SHAPE CODING TM system. Making the shapes coloured does not work because lots of words can be put into a shape and they're all different parts of speech.

When starting teach children about the present progressive and the simple past, not the progressive past because this is a more complex sentence structure so the progressive past structure comes later

Help TAs be involved in your SHAPE CODING TM sessions and see whether they can put them in order. If not it's a good opportunity for any children you're working with to help them and show them how to.
