An entire block in Deptford has been served #section21 eviction notices. The #landlord said the notices were issued to “facilitate the refurbishment” of the building, which was recently refurbished in 2017. I visited tenants today to ask what this means for them 🔗

This so awful, it’s unbelievable that a company would even think to do this, but to carry it out in such a manner right before Christmas.

Meet our landlord, Henry Smith of Aitch Group. Previously responsible for mismanaging Ridley Villas and leaving residents 'to rot.' Exploited Hackney council by offering temporary accommodation administered so badly, it caused harm. Hey, at least he's consistent. Hackney Post

Our landlord Henry Smith of Aitch Group, discussing the importance of support for young mothers. SURELY this can't be the same Henry Smith of Aitch Group evicting young mothers, families and single parents with no support, and over the Christmas period, right? RIGHT?!

"There's a lot of people, which I think, are unfair landlords. We really don't play that game... Some people find it as a way of making a quick buck, I really don't agree with that" - Oh Henry, please stop, the jokes are writing themselves. The Independent The Standard Metro

We love to see our landlord Henry Smith discussing 'Christian' values at Easter while evicting 150+ tenants and displacing families at Christmas - how VERY giving of you. Henry, what on earth would Jesus say? The hypocrisy is truly stunning. GB News

Evicting 150 tenants during the Christmas period aligns perfectly with Henry Smith's values as a former payday loan shark. Should someone with such a suspect history be trusted with others' housing? After all, grifters gonna grift. Mail Online The Times and The Sunday Times The Sun

The interviewer responding with 'cowardly', and Henry Smith jeering 'yuuh', whilst smugly smiling are really the cherry on top of this car crash cake.

Henry Smith of Aitch Group stating he's 'happy to sit down with most people'. Ironic, considering he's refusing to communicate by any means with tenants of Vive Living Childers Street - the tenants he's evicting during winter, who’ve helped line his pockets for the last 7 years.

Oh look, Aitch Group shamelessly gloating about housing families in Bexley whilst making families in Deptford homeless, a move condemned by Lewisham council. Bexley council, you might want to pay attention!?
