The Board of Education recognized Washington High School golfer Owen Zastrow for finishing in a tie for eighth place at the MSHSAA Class 4 Boys Golf Championships at Silo Ridge Golf & Country Club in Bolivar.

An informational meeting for parents with students interested in participating in athletics and activities at Washington High School and Middle School for the 2025-26 school year will take place on Monday, August 4, at the WHS CJB Theater at 6 p.m.
