Shouldn’t be surprised, but seeing masks totally off at #4c24 is shocking. So many pictures and “happy to be in community” posts by people who claim to work with marginalized people w/ total disregard to high risk folks and community care generally is a gut punch.

One of my working theories for the emergence of the 'Trad wife' aesthetic is that it depends a lot on disconnection from women who were actually adults in the 1950s and 60s.

I'm the oldest daughter in a Quiverfull family. My childhood ended at 6 when I was expected to be independent. By 12, I was running my family's household.

I homeschooled myself from grades 6-12 and hated every second of it.

You can't have a Quiverfull without exploitation.
