Back at one of my favorites, Veterans Memorial Park in Little Falls. Baseball sectionals are underway, and we had an all-local Class B battle as the Mounties hosted Mt. Markham. Tied at 2 in the 5th, Little Falls’ bats came alive to win 7-4 and advance. See how it unfolded at 11!

Heartbreaking news out of the DiamondDawgs family. Hearing his voice at Veterans Memorial Park was a standard in the summer months over the years here in Central New York. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and entire Dawgs organization. RIP Lou.

New Hartford native Sydney Bard among former Colgate players finding new homes with new PWHL expansion teams. The defender was selected by PWHL Vancouver in tonight’s Expansion Draft after spending rookie season this past year with Boston.

Drama here in the final round of the 2025 New York State Golf Association Men’s Amateur Championship at Yahnundasis Golf Club in New Hartford. After a rain delay, we’re in for a big finish awaiting a 2nd playoff hole between John Hiller & Anthony Delisanti to decide the champ!

Both Hiller and Delisanti two-putt hole 9 again so we migrate to hole 1 for a third and likely final playoff hole to decide an outright NYS Men’s Amateur Champion. TENSE moments and an instant classic brewing here at Yahnundasis!
