After a long journey on multiple modes of transport (remember propellers?) I finally made it to Pécs, Hungary for the Year 1 General Assembly meeting of OneBat Project So nice to see colleagues again in this lovely city. Ready to hear all the Work Package results achieved this year.

Well what an excellent OneBat Project meeting that was. Detailed discussions and planning with consortium members. Some disruptions for everyone on journeys home due to #StormBert but all safe. Thanks again from ViralPseudotypeUnit to our super host Gabor Kemenesi at Pécs Uni, Hungary.

Really nice overview of the HPAI situation in US dairy cattle, with a focus on transmission modalities between cows within herds, the spread of the virus between dairy farms, and exposure risks for humans. Highlights key gaps. 👉journals.asm.org/doi/10.1128/mb…

It's unfair to announce after we've left a station but I can understand the stop skip from a safety perspective. The problem is how do we keep getting in this position and the weekend service is under provisioned. Standing all the way to London is miserable. ^RM

"nobody uses ticket offices" here's the effect of no staff cover again. The combination of rubbish phone signal and staff absence causes a big queue at Hildenborough. ^RM

Pleased to be playing a part in this venture and looking forward to seeing Virion X address problems caused by high-consequence viruses. A waitlist has been set up to determine the key unmet needs researchers and companies have in this field - lnkd.in/dGUmviNK

Hey Arriva Kent why is there no 402 Sevenoaks to Tonbridge between 8 and 9? I'm in Hildenborough and there's supposed to be a bus at 8.37 but it's not on your live tracker? ^RM
