On November 20th, IMPH brought together food systems experts from across the state for a SC Roadmap policy think tank session at schospitals. These conversations are key to informing policymakers on the nonmedical drivers of health and we’re excited for what comes next!

Congratulations to our Roadmap Policy Director, Amy Weaver, who was recently appointed to the South Carolina Food Systems Network Board! Her three-year term will complement her work as Roadmap Policy Director, helping advance coordinated, statewide food system solutions.

IMPH is happy to share that Michael de Arellano, Ph.D., has joined the IMPH Board of Directors. Dr. de Arellano serves as Chief Organizational Excellence Officer for MUSC and MUSC Health, where he leads the Division of Organizational Engagement and Excellence. Welcome!

IMPH will be closed beginning tomorrow, December 23 so our team can rest, rejuvinate, and spend time with family. We will be back on January 2.
