Before Keenan's appeal. Spartanburg High is appealing one of its football players to see if he will be eligible for playoffs. Player transfered to Boiling Springs just before practice started before going back to Spartanburg . Presented as the player didn't to transfer to begin

SCHSL Eligibility Appeals Committee votes 5-0 to deny Spartanburg appeal regarding football player. The player can play rest of regular season starting this week but not in the postseason. Spartanburg can appeal ruling if it wants.

Keenan HS appeal is up now. Asking for closed session for some of it because of sensitive information

Cam McMillon father Robert saying they have do the move for medical/health reasons. Now, headed to closesd session because of medical/sensitive information

Back in open session. McMillon father says son wasn't comfortable at his other school (South Pointe). Says what was happening on field was affecting him in classroom and pysche. "We had to put him in better enviroment and Keenan was better enviroment."

McMillon said went to SP coaches and principal. "When nothing was done, we did what we had to do which was best for him." Says he is excelling at Keenan in classroom etc

McMillon said son was ranked as top QB in state in 2026. Went about taking first-team reps (was starter last year). Said was given list of things to do in offseason and did all those things. "Doing everything asked of him."

McMillon said when son moved junior year created problem. Now, McMillon father said he bumped heads with player's father back in youth days. He said player's father (who is on SP staff) told McMillon he must look for his son first on offense.

Mr. McMillon said son was pulled after 10 plays in SP first game and put in another player. Mr. McMillon said coaching staff told him that he was playing consistently bad since last season.

Committee member Cooper: If he was still the starting QB at South Pointe HS, would you have moved him Mr. McMillon: If he was starter, it wouldn't have got to this point. (Says lack of trnasparency with SP coaches) Also added bridges were burnt after opener against Hough

Mr. McMillon: They took him out after 10 plays and no one said anything to him that weekend.

Mr. McMillon said they had team meeting that Sunday and his son was excluded. "They turned their backs on him."

Motion to allow McMillon to play rest of regular season but not in playoffs.

SCHSL Eligibility Appeals Committee votes 5-0 to deny Keenan appeal regarding football QB Cam McMillon. McMillon can play in regular season once the 30-day required period is over but not in playoffs. Keenan can appeal the decision.

Based on 30-day waiting period and McMillon enrolling at Keenan on Sept. 11, my calcutions say that would end Saturday. So McMillon could play in Raiders final 2 regular season games on Oct. 17 and 24. Keenan off on 31st for its bye.
