Earlier this week, Dieck and SCMS collaborated on reading group techniques. A big thanks to Mrs Foote and her 6th hour ELA class, for allowing some teachers to observe their learning!

NJHS last week had a wonderful day helping our community!! We even had Mr Alex, our bus driver, in on the action!!

Today was a special day! Mr. Kaplan took the kids out for recess today. Spending lunchtime, listening to the laughter and screams of happy children, watching them run and play, is a great reminder of why we do what we do every day. Love you kids!

Congratulations to our SCMS PTO big prize drawing winners! Colton Staley, Preston Ward, Riley Brown & Amalia Morrish! These kids won their gift cards by entering their Target Tickets in the drawing. They earned the tickets with positive behavior! Keep up the good work!!

This week we are celebrating our assistant principal's and all the great work they do to support learning at Swartz Creek Middle School.

We are celebrating our Fearless Bus Drivers in April! Ms. Heidi has been driving for 20 years. She does it because she loves the kids. THANK YOU!

Mrs. Swales entrée maker class along with the help of Mrs. Bielby, presented two gifts to Mr. Kaplan from the students. The students painted with alcohol paints on tile. Each student created their own design and together made a beautiful collage.

Mrs. Francis teaching predator/prey relationships to her science students. Students act as dragonflies using their spoons to eat mayflies which are actually marshmallows in her lab. This is part of the MiSTAR Michigan science curriculum.

Even though Administrative Assistant Week was last week, we are still celebrating these incredible professionals who put kids first every day.
