Golf South Carroll 184, Liberty 189 Highlights: At River Downs, Nick Amateau fired a 40 in windy conditions for the Cavaliers (5-2) and Jack Hopwood added a 43.

FOOTBALL South Carroll 27, Century 12 Highlights: Junior Ryan Barnard passed for two touchdowns and ran for another score as the Cavaliers get their fourth win in five games. SCs defense buckled down in the 2nd half forcing turnovers on the first 3 Century drives of the half.

Golf Man Valley 170, South Carroll 175 Highlights: On Tuesday, Jack Hopwood earned medalist honors with a 36 for the Cavaliers, and Nick Amateau fired a 42.

CARROLL COUNTY SPRING SPORT SEASON UNDERWAY: The status of any postseason play is yet to be decided, and the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association’s Board of Control is expected to meet in two weeks to determine whether a playoff format will be created.

Girls Lacrosse South Carroll 11, FSK 8 Highlights: On Thursday, Shannon McTavish finished with five goals for the Cavaliers (1-1), and Emma Sellers and Caelin Stromberg had two each.

Boys Lacrosse South Carroll 5, FSK 4 (3OT) Highlights: On Thursday, the Cavaliers outlasted the Eagles to even their record at 1-1. Jake Langille and Phil Suter had two goals apiece, and Jackson Moore won 7 of 11 face-offs.
