A1: greeting the students by name at the door, using the 2-10 strategie or picking two students and having at least a 2 minutes conversation with them not about class for 10 days in a row. #learnbpschat

A2: Ive worked with families on different check in and check out systems that are specific to their student. This helps with communication. Also being able to have email and phone conversations is a good way to support that. #learnbpschat

A3: As an educator I think it’s important to know that we need to disconnect from our email, etc. at times. Making sure we are taking time for our families and ourselves is a refuel that can be so beneficial and it will also benefit out students #learnbpschat

A3: The two thing I think are: first the importance of relationships and connections with our students and the importance of that. Second is really being able to dig into the importance and layers of our units and lessons with differentiation #learnbpschat

Q4: Having our technology and library media specialists available has been wonderful. There have also been many great tutorials on google, zoom, etc. Put out onto Facebook making it very easy to find and feel like you have good info. #learnbpschat

A1: Selfcare is important so that you don’t get drained. Your students family and friends benefit from you having healthy selfcare. It can also be a great example for your students. #learnbpschat

A2: I am making sure to set times where I am not on my phone or computer as then I’m constantly connected to my email. I am also walking for at least 30min a day. #learnbpschat

A5: I think a big one is to continue to set aside time for family and things that fill you up. I often work and work and work and this time has been a good reminder to slow down. I think reminding everyone to still do that. #learnbpschat
