majority of upcoming producer artists are solely DJing / doing b2bs vs building / trying out live shows since the investment needed for live is so prohibitive. squeezes out the space for future creativity when only the biggest acts get funding or new acts can’t go beyond DJing.

never hear anyone mention that one! when i made that it defined a whole new sound / melodic structure for me.

live touring is so difficult right now. 20 shows performed in the last year - and the reality being 20k-30k in debt. low fees & high costs its hard to not lose money or break even - even with the scale of shows - festivals taking less risks too = more of who played last year.

i met up with ezra whilst working on the rat road as he had hit me wanting to write something to follow up new dorp! didn't really happen at time! ezra linked me with steve lacy who i made some tracks with just before pandemic hit though! 🫠

✌🏾 i had years of questioning whether i was just wasting my energy making music after some of the press reactions for it. its not perfect by any means and was def too long but thats another thing! ive def appreciated all the people who have let me know it resonated with them!

✌🏾 always felt those were undeappreciated.
