At our recent AGM, John McCulloch was elected as national chair, with Scott Dey being elected as national vice chair. An enthusiastic committee has also been elected, representing their respective areas of the country. We look forward to an exciting year ahead! 🌾

Yesterday, our chair and vice chair attended a meeting of the NFU Scotland Next Generation group in the glorious surroundings of Forfar! Lots of important topics were discussed and John and Scott are looking forward to working closely with Next Gen going forward! 🌾 #yfinaction

At the Royal Highland Show, we were delighted to welcome the cabinet secretary for rural affairs, Mairi Gougeon for a joint meeting between SAYFC Agri Affairs and NFU Scotland Next Gen Group! A productive meeting where we discussed the priorities of young people in Scottish Agriculture!
