Thanks to a generous grant from the Windmill House Trust, we’ve started our Summer Term Project - our Junior Choir singers are choosing their concert theme and contributing repertoire ideas for the programme. Here are some of their thoughts so far!

Our doors are open for the Open Session today in the beautiful church of All Saints' Oakham! Oakham Team Ministry

Our Open Session is tomorrow! Young Voices (School Years 1-4) from 4.00pm, and Junior Choir (School Years 5-9) from 4.30pm. Hope to see you there!

We’re going to be learning lots of great songs this term, from folk songs to songs from musicals, and favourites such as ‘Fly me to the Moon’ and ‘Walking on Sunshine’ - come along on Wednesday to try it out for yourself!

Before Easter, we joined Rutland Choral Soc Society for their concert of Bernstein + Kodály - thank you to RCS for the invitation! Here is a write-up from one of our Junior Choir singers (aged 10):

Being in a choir is not just about singing! We had lots of fun getting to know each other by playing ‘find someone who’ - we now know we have a member with lots of chickens, five members who were born abroad, and several members who can use chopsticks! Join us to meet new people!

Three good reasons to sing with us this term:
1.) Singing is a great way to look after your mental and physical health!
2.) You will make lots of new friends!
3.) Choir is screen-free fun every Wednesday!
