Horrified to hear those with power - both at O&S (for what I consider to be a biased School Transport consultation, AND on Panorama - justify services cuts based on an increase of SEND kids.

Private care disgusted me so much I left. This was a long time before I had my first daughter.
The whole model of private care is corrupt & unfit.
Vulnerable, disabled people are systemically at risk of harm & breach of basic rights, safeguarding is poor, & staff are exploited.

Why don’t you make it clear that after a diagnosis of Down’s syndrome, if the foetus is found to have severe issues with the heart or something else which means it may not survive to full term, a woman will be FORCED to carry to term.

This is monstrous. Shame on you.

23 yrs ago today our daughter Phoebs Lyle, then aged 3, was left paralysed from the neck down & ventilator dependant after a hit & run incident in Spain. Today she started her new job as a journalist/researcher in BBC NI. To say that we are proud of her is an understatement
