Just discovered this wonderful podcast series about 100 Black Women Who Have Made A Mark. It seeks to redress the erasure of Black women from portraiture in the UK and is led by Pawlet Brookes of Serendipity Institute for Black Arts and Heritage. sites.libsyn.com/547937

Im excited to see this article about Victoria County History as #Participatory #Historicalgeography published in RGS-IBG Higher Ed journal #Area. It’s part of a special section I’m editing with Ed Brookes to formalise participatory historical geog as a subdiscipline. rgs-ibg.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.11…

Was a huge pleasure to work with our VCH_Cumbria colleagues on this fantastic book. The very rainy February day I spent in Burton-in-Kendal will have been totally worth it when this 250th volume of Victoria County History arrives!
