hi. its been a while. its a crazy world, no doubt. while it can drive one to insanity to feel so helpless in the macro, we all can make a HUGE difference by being more attentive to the micro, ie our family, friends, and local communities. ur attention is a commodity. share wisely

1)A person is a reflection of their environment. if your environment is filled with negativity, that will have a huge affect on you. there’s a lot of crazy stuff going on in the world, which a lot of (4 most part) does not directly involve u. Are u going to do something about it?

2) unfortunately, media, the news,, etc. exploit the principle of “rubbernecking” (why people slow down on highway when there’s an accident across the median in the opposite lane of traffic) and bombard u with drama to win ur attention. Dont let them!

3) this doesn’t mean be ignorant. However, because of our technological advancements, we have the ability to be connected to the whole world. this is not natural, we were never meant to carry the weight of everyone’s grief. Focus on what is tangible: family, community etc.

…and being a priest doesn’t make u righteous. It is no accident that American teachers make less than a person holding a 🛑 at a construction zone. the treachery of “top” is rendered impotent against an educated populous. level the playing field. see what happens.

feels like a selective breeding/social experiment: create a virus. hint at being responsible. flex ur abilty to control information. create vaccine. deliberately create uncertainties and distrust. repeat. you’ll be left with: “I know you’re responsible but I’ll still conform.”
