Trotters Inter Dom. Not completely surprised, but still slightly disappointed in Sky's post race take on the one off distance for the time honoured race. Had it been run over 2600 and drivers also showed no initiative, the result wouldn't have changed. It's a race.Put em into it!

Can someone tell the guy in the Sky studio to cross to Tim Walker so he can do his tips for GP that Racing WA is paying Sky for! Bloody embarrassing that for another week, no one has told the guy. Don't pad and cross to Ritchie. Cross to Tim 30 seconds earlier for goodness sake!

NEVER ENDING resumed this morning at Pinj. trials. Condition gave out over final 100m when third to Lincoln Lou and Swingband - also resuming. Both trialed very well. His last 2000m in 2.26.6. Last mile in 1.55.8. Last 1000m in 69.4. Last half by my watch in 54.3 - 27.5 and 26.8.

IM STEALTHY (Wildwest's half-brother) ran his last 2000m today in 2.25.2. I got him home in 55 flat - 28.5 and 26.5. Best guess at last two 200m splits are 13.7 and 12.8!

WA OAKS favourite, Bettathanlife broke gait in her satisfactory trial at Byford this morning. Is now currently ineligible to race in the Oaks this Friday. Does have option of trialing at the Central Wheatbelt meeting tomorrow afternoon in the hope of removing the racing bar.

Oaks favourite Bettathanlife got around safely in a Kellerberrin trial just now. Head check and hood on. Last mile in around 2.00 minutes.

An interesting observation. Leap to Fame and Keayang Zahara both ran their final laps in basically the same time. Around 1.12.2. Obviously LTF did more early on in his race, but he's the best in Australasia and the other girl is a trotter. A fair one too at that!
