Ravens never really deserved to make the playoffs but showed flashes like they had something to prove if they got in. Unfortunately the Ravens have proven year in and year out that they are allergic to big games and big moments. Just brutal but fitting end to this year.

Ravens need to make changes this offseason. Their D has no pass rush, they play such soft coverage on the outside which allow easy 8-9 yard plays, and they showed that they don’t have many playmakers that can take over games when Kyle Hamilton is not on the field.

Tyler Loop’s first season was inconsistent at best. His final kick of the season was very reminiscent of Billy Cundiff’s kick that would’ve sent the Ravens to the Super Bowl in 2012. Way different circumstances here but still absolutely brutal to watch in real time

I’m all for stability in an organization, especially in an era where coaches are hired/fired so quickly now. But when you’re relying solely on stability for the sake of it when it’s gotten you no real tangible results, something has to change.

The national media is clueless. Anyone who has truly watched this team over the last two years has seen that the defense, which Orr inherited from Mike MacDonald, has been absolutely awful. But yet they’re talking about Monken being the problem and let go? What a joke.

The injury bug has limited Weathers so far. Will they consider him in the pen if they feel like the risk is too high in the rotation? #Yankees

I understand the familiarity here but not sure I’m overly excited about the possibility of him vs other candidates still available

As someone who sees these knee injuries often and also a Ravens fan, the bone stress injury and cartilage issues in addition to the meniscus repair is a red flag. Clearly there was more going on than just the repair and long term was Crosby’s contract worth the 2 1st rd picks? 🤷‍♂️

It’s not a great look for the Ravens, I 100% get that, but in the sports medicine realm you’re going have all sorts of doctors, therapists, and people who are willing to take on risk and those who aren’t. The Ravens staff felt that it wasn’t worth the long term risk.

I wanted Crosby bad, the dude is an absolute game wrecker when he’s healthy so I was stunned to see this unfold last night. Reminds me Todd Gurley (diff positions and stress I understand that) where after his ACL there was early onset arthritis that changed his long term outlook.

The Trey Hendrickson signing takes the sting of losing Crosby away a bit but I think TH is a much different player than Crosby. Hendrickson coming off sports hernia surgery as well so while it’s unlikely he’ll fail his physical, the optics just look pretty bad for the Ravens.

At the end of the day, for a player like Crosby and the way he plays, having other potential things structurally in the knee that could alter how fast he recovers but also potentially impede his ability to play at that high level for long, it’s a tough call.

Why doesn’t the NFL just get rid of the legal tampering period? A lot of this crap is avoided by doing so but that doesn’t make for people constantly talking about the league…
