This week Reception and Year 1 were invited to Mrs Darcey's Christmas Reading. Some Year 1 & 2 children who have been practising their reading skills with Mrs D, came to read to the younger children. Thank you to all of those super readers & to Mrs Darcey for organising!

Nursery had a magical time during their Polar Express Day. The children loved playing in the cold snow, taking rides of the train and having hot chocolate!

Art Club have been busy making and painting clay pots!

As part of the Forces unit, Year 5 made parachutes. They designed their own investigations based around air resistance and then carried these out in small groups.

Year 3's Virtual Reality Experience. To enhance their Ancient Egyptian topic,  Year 3 got to travel to Ancient Egypt and witness the pyramids and tombs first hand.

Year 4 visited St Andrews Church Wednesday afternoon to enhance their RE in our Neighbourhood area topic. The children completed a scavenger hunt and had a question and answer session with the church's vicar.

Reception have been thoroughly enjoying their Pirate topic this half term, we have learnt about pirates from the past, what it takes to be a pirate and the transport they used. The children in each class all worked so collaboratively to build their own class pirate ship.
