Lovely day.

There’s lots of athletics in the news this weekend from World Records to parkruns and sadly the loss of Kelvin Kiptum. I took this photo last April about 23 miles into London Marathon.

I remember these the first time round. They were a difficult sale, ultimately getting offered to retailers at 50p a pair.

Now £120 + postage on eBay. Party on.

It’s ruddy cold to be stood outside watching sport / training tonight. Thought it wise to wear 2 coats only to realise that other parents are equipped with heated trainer insoles and battery powered heated socks. 🧦 🔥

This record could stand for a long time! Great photo.
