Switching back to IJ has been a good opportunity to clean house on default settings that don't bring me joy. If you're still opening XML files and then immediately switching to the `code` view, update your default editor mode and breathe a sigh of relief 🙂

"Mine!" is a phenomenal book. It was immensely thought provoking both generally in my capacity as a person who lives in society and also as someone who works at a tech company during a period in time where technology is dramatically changing rules of ownership. Highly recommend

If you have been thinking about teaching your furry friends to talk I highly recommend it! It has really changed how I look at the world and the non human animals we share it with.

Unsure who is reaping the rewards of this gift more: Eugene who now has a snuggly blanket for afternoon snoozles or me who now gets even more cute Eugene photos, now with 2x the Eugene content‼️

Remember that time when I showed up to give a presentation and then couldn't share my deck so presented the entire talk from memory?! 🙃 Bless this audience and these organizers for bearing with me 💛 Such a delightful group of people!

Happy 5 years of Kotlin on Android (officially speaking, of course 😉). It was so fun to reminisce about how far things have come since those earliest days! android-developers.googleblog.com/2022/08/celebr…
