How mojo can *really* work: news about train company TransPennine Express losing its franchise broke around 7.30am; mojo supreme Nick Garnett happened to be on one of their trains so recorded & filed voxes in 4k from his iPhone. They were in the system by 8am.

Not all heroes wear capes, some wear high vis clothing and work around the clock (during the biggest party on the planet no less) to ensure #Liverpool has looked its best for #Eurovision Liverpool Streetscene Services Ltd we thank you 🙏🏻

For context - not everyone in Greater Manchester is that fussed about the football #FACupFinal. Scene outside BBC offices in Salford now

Tips for #MCFC fans or colleagues going to Istanbul final: - Buy Turkish delight made with honey, NOT SUGAR (Hafiz Mustafa 1864 do nice ones) - Take a riverboat tour - The Egyptian Spice bazaar (pictured) & Arasta Bazaar are prettier than the admittedly impressive Grand Bazaar

Just seen Yusuf/Cat Stevens' set #Glastonbury on BBC iPlayer. Not gonna lie. The shot of the father and son with their arms around each other’s shoulders while they sang along to Father and Son brought a tear

So Uber taxi driver cancelled last minute leading to me having to rebook and miss my train. If he'd done his job I would have been at station 15 mins before the train left but instead missed it by a minute and had to pay £66 for another tkt. Uber refusing to refund... any ideas?

Maybe just sing the Horrible Histories Owain Glyndwr version instead? Still got the catchy tune and spirit of Tom and Wales. But without the crime of passion... youtu.be/3ded-oI56RE

Unfairly overlooked but one of #MichaelGambon best roles was in the BBC's adaptation of Elizabeth Gaskell's Wives and Daughters in 1999. His depiction of bereavement, occasionally overbearing family pride & parochial prejudice was spot on. He won the best actor BAFTA for it too.

V disturbing when TV channels show travelogues that effectively act as advertisements for certain travel firms. And also show a very selective whitewashed view of history, erasing the contributions of others.

If the TV industry only ends up with a privileged few, then that translates to the television that gets made, and the shows that end up on screen. TV is there to reflect all of us, not a few.

Great to see Zig Buu docu on going to Mecca for pilgrimage - shows a side of Arabia & Muslims not often seen in UK mainstream media. Still way too much ignorance abt major world religions so every little helps. Reckon there's an idea in short teaching clips with the Ldn Imam!
