So ends an absolutely fantastic #VoM2024. Organisers absolutely smashed it Viruses of Microbes 2024 🇦🇺. - content ✅ - location ✅ - delegation ✅ UK contingent had a whale of a time. 🇬🇧 Going home tired but inspired and energised to apply the learnings to ongoing research! 🥼🦠💻


So glad to represent the Smith lab Darren Smith along with Rui Santos and Jasmine in my first #VoM2024 in Australia. Not only did we learn about current research in phages but also made loads of friends!!!🧬🐨🇦🇺 #phage #australia_is_mint

Well its that time of year again Pholks. We are happy to announce the dates for the next Viruses of Microbes-UK meeting at Northumbria University. The meeting will be on the 23rd and 24th of Jan 2025. This will be preceded by a phage genomics workshop led by Andrew millard on the 22nd
