Today we time travelled into the Ancient Roman Empire, travelling from Gaul to Britannia. We discovered the horrible truth of roman toilets, learned the benefits of Roman armour, and saw some of the archeology hidden beneath the streets of Dewa (Chester). #rudstonhistory

Part 2... continuing our ancient Roman adventures, it was time to join the Roman army. We marched, we shouted and practiced formations as the teacher’s and centurion checked there defences. They all did fantastic today and proved themselves excellent additions to the Roman army.

As part of health week we have been taking part in activities with a focus on the key skills that are needed in team games. Day 1 we focused on Handball and Friendship. Mersey were outstanding they worked really well but two really stood out. #rudstonpe

Health week, Day3: Tri-Golf. Terrific talent across the field today as we learnt how to putt and chip our golf balls. We focused on our golf stances alongside the value of Respect of all players. Well done two our winners of the awards. #rudstonpe #healthweek

We have been coming to the end of our Romans topic and we have been looking at the impact that roads and towns had on the Celts. So, we decided to do some town planning of our own ensuring we made it a desirable place to visit. #romans #rudstonhistory
