A SAFECAST team is in Ukraine now installing #radnote wireless realtime radiation sensors as part of a joint project with SaveDnipro and @blueswireless. Independent monitoring of critical areas and population centers will be rolled out over the coming months.

It's an honor for us at Blues to learn and to partner here with SaveDnipro, helping the people of Ukraine through #iotForGood. Hundreds of Notecard-based Radnotes are being used to map a baseline of radiation levels throughout the region and around the globe.

With the cooperation of Chornobyl Ecocenter leadership, the @Safecast, SaveDnipro , Blues team successfully installed 2 Radnote units in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone this week. This network will grow and provide crucial backup monitoring capability in the CEZ.
