Our closing hole is unlike any other. As you step onto the tee you are confronted by land, sea and sky in equal measure - a scene which inspired the club’s colours.

Beach Clean Friday!

Porthcawl is home to several popular beaches including our neighbour, Rest Bay. It is a stunning stretch of coastline and well cared for by the local #community .

Today we made a small contribution to #keepwalestidy ❤️ #leaveonlyfootsteps

Much fun was had at our Spring Open yesterday. The customary full field of 160 players from across the UK took to the tee and embraced the challenge.

We’ve so been longing for the return of twilight golf on the links! The suns lasting glow and the sound of waves gently lapping on the shore provide the most peaceful of backdrops to an evening round.

Another top visit to Royal Porthcawl Golf Club the last couple of days, this time with Golf Club Secretary. Great to see the new clubhouse putting green in action... plus the kind of golf bag you only really see at clubs like this (not mine, I hasten to add, sadly...)

At long last, it feels like the golfing season has arrived.

The greenkeepers have the course in outstanding condition and our house team and professionals are looking forward to providing a warm Welsh welcome to all our 2024 visitors.
