The Princess Royal was in Edinburgh this morning where she enjoyed a sneak peek of the Edinburgh Tattoo rehearsals ahead of their opening night tomorrow.
The Princess, who is Patron of Edinburgh Tattoo, met piper training cadets at the Redford Barracks.
