#RowanDeacon 's two-part Netflix documentary series is a good starting point for anyone who's unfamiliar with Jimmy Savile's (a rotten egg) crimes and the cover up.

Please watch this tonight on BBC2. A fascinating and complex story brilliantly directed by Rowan Deacon and @lizkempy1 and beautifully edited by @joecareyeditor.

Weird to see the #Savile doc at No 1 on Netflix UK chart. Proves that if you can make docs about serious investigations accessible enough people will watch. Congrats Rowan Deacon 72 Films. Hope it means Netflix commission more of the same - I have a few ideas

I’m going to shock you here: not many people want to be interviewed about Jimmy Savile these days. There was a point where I thought we might not get a guest for this episode.

Just finished Rowan Deacon’s #JimmySavileABritishHorrorStory . It’s a truly awful, horrific story, but it was a remarkable masterclass in storytelling. Absolutely superb filmmaking. Hats off to Rowan, 72 Films Netflix, Ben Brown and everyone else involved!
