Suuuuuper happy to reunite with Haifeng Zheng at Microbial Biogeochemistry in Lund Rousk Lab! 🤓🤓He will conduct an experiment to determine whether the limiting factor for soil microbial growth changes when ecosystems are fumigated by OZONE! 🌾

We collected two types of soil from southern Sweden: type 1 (resilient) and type 2 (sensitive). We're using a special tracer to explore how soil microbes respond to drying-rewetting events. Can't wait to get started on this exciting experiment!!! Rousk Lab Microbial Biogeochemistry in Lund

The year’s 29th and final #MBLU Microbial Biogeochemistry in Lund lab meeting: the Christmas quiz, organised by Agnieszka Rzepczynska and Lettice Hicks. Yule tide bliss

For this week’s Microbial Biogeochemistry in Lund meeting we welcome our guest faculty: Qiuxiang Tian from Wuhan Botanical Garden. Qiuxiang will investigate how forest #EcM/#AMF dominance will impact the #microbial resource landcape, and consequences this will have for C and N cycles!

Yesterday, Honorine Dumontel explained how #reciprocal #transplantation #experiments in #tropical costs rica can help us understand how #microbial #communities align #thermal #trait distributions to the environment’s forcing. #egu25 meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU25/EGU25-19…

What is the #ecosystem #carbon #budget consequences of #microbial #thermal #trait alignment to #warming? By combining clever #experimentation with incisive mass balance C budgets, Albert Brangarí can explain the gradual dampening of #soilC loss #egu25 meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU25/EGU25-23…
