Content: No one wanted to talk to a reporter; a random lady said something dumb; a random guy made a comparison the author didn't like and sent an insensitive tweet seven months ago.

The closest thing to 'fervor' in the article is this, protestors locking arms and chanting when pro-Israel students show up. Even if you think this is over the top, even the people pushed out say they were never scared. The reporter can't find any incidents of violence.

Again, this is a *protest against an ongoing mass murder.* This article is a bald attempt to discredit the students and change the subject from the literal mass graves being discovered in Gaza.
