Evidence of our dry late season 2024 and early season 2025 in Illinois. This is HPPD carryover from applications in 2024 showing up in 2025 soybeans. Most of these beans should make it through, but yield could be impacted. Reach out to your local Channel Seed team for help.

I was able to get out and check fields today after taking a week for vacation. This field of Bayer Traits & Systems Preceon short corn is off to the races! Great stand and health. Can already see the bottom node “stacking” and larger stalk. Reach out to Channel Seed team for questions.

The mid-April planted beans I took a look at this afternoon already have flowers on them! We definitely have a long way to go and grow, but it’s always fun to see them progress. Channel Seed Bayer U.S. 🇺🇸 | Crop Science

From the Field for week of June 23rd. Discussed how it’s time to make our fungicide decisions for corn. Tar spot is popping up in Illinois already. Delaro Complete is one of the best tools on the market to help keep tar spot under control. Channel Seed Bayer U.S. 🇺🇸 | Crop Science

I evaluated an on farm fungicide trial this week. Some pretty dramatic pictures. Can’t wait to get the harvest results from this plot! Planted 4/15, sprayed R1 on 7/7 and R3 on 7/22. Corn pics are untreated vs R1.
