i'd like to add: as folks have pointed out, the group supposedly behind the ddos is suspected to NOT be affiliated with sudan, despite their name, but actually are from russia. again, concerted effort to villainize specific groups by pretending to be members of them.

Every year in lieu of a holiday bonus studios lay off writers room support staffs during Xmas & new years when shows are idle. It's a common industry practice. So TV writer/producers (gladly) pay the staff out of their own pockets to cover this deficit. Please spare me this bs.

A reminder that the chief "unreasonable" things the WGA and SAG-AFTRA are both asking for are: -Increased minimums for our lowest paid members -Protection from replacement/duplication by AI -Streaming residuals falling in line with television That's what they want to deny us.
