As of 8pm tonight, the Currowan Fire burning in the Shoalhaven has been set to out. The fire burned for 74 days, burnt out 499,621 hectares and spans from each end of the Shoalhaven. 312 homes were destroyed and 173 damaged. 1,889 homes saved by firefighters. #NSWRFS #nswfires

13,000 customers remain without power in parts of Sydney and the Central Coast following last weekend’s storms. 127,000 homes & businesses have been safely restored. Our contact centre is operating 24 hours a day and you can contact Ausgrid on 131388.

In the hardest hit areas, the network is being rebuilt from the ground up on a street by street basis. Power is being restored progressively but only where it is safe to do so. Ausgrid is aiming to have all customers restored by the end of the weekend.
