One of the most amazing news from @makerere last year was Dr. Rose Nakasi winning a grant worth $1.5m from Google to improve the Mak Ocular project.

The Ocular eases screening for malaria, TB, and cervical cancer, which are some of the deadliest diseases in Uganda.

We exhibited how our AI-powered mobile microscopy can greatly increase reliable and timely diagnosis of highly endemic diseases like Malaria to delegates visiting Makerere University
