At the September 3, 2021 Special Called Meeting, the Newton-Conover City Schools Board of Education voted 6-0 to require staff, students, and visitors to wear face coverings while indoors on school campuses beginning Tuesday, September 7, 2021.

"I'm just being honest" is a poor excuse for being rude. Candor is being forthcoming in what you say. Respect is being considerate in how you say it. Being direct with the content of your feedback doesn't prevent you from being thoughtful about the best way to deliver it.

Kris Nordstrom While there can be good information gathered from these tools, I think they must be used with caution. Counselors need to take time with each student going over results. Many students are late developers and have potential that might not be recognized.

I can tell if a school has effective admin within minutes of walking into the school. I watch the office staff, custodians & faculty interact in the hall, their demeanor & interactions w/other staff & students. It's true everyone impacts culture, but Leadership is the thermostat!

Can’t meet the constitutional mandate for funding schools, but will throw money at programs such as this that already failed in other states? Someone please help me understand.
