Another example of IPV-homicide when attempting to leave a violent relationship. Tragic, preventable, and unacceptable. It's not as simple as 'she should just leave' and we need to do better to support survivors.

UBCO Health & Exercise Sciences are conducting a study w/ women who are survivors of IPV who were seen by paramedics for violence-caused reasons. The project goal is to characterize the survivor experience to drive positive change in the care provided to survivors by paramedics.
