One of my favorite books to read this time of year is “Crankenstein” by Samantha Berger. I love this story because it is so important for children to know that we value ALL of their emotions: happy, sad, afraid, excited, nervous, and yes, even cranky! 😅#waysiderocks Denise Palaia

What better way to learn about blends than by getting hands on and making trail mix??? Not only did students come to understand that blends are letters that come together, but keep their sounds, they also got a yummy treat to go along with it!
