Really disappointed that Riftbound won't be increasing the prize payouts for TCG standard tournaments. Why should I entirely invest in a new game when the prizes are worse/the same as one I'm already playing?

Latest card game I've tried to learn is either TCG or Duel Links Yugioh. I can confidently say, nothing in law school is nearly as complex as reading and understanding what a single card does in that game anymore.

This feels like something I would have written two years ago.

Nevermind, taught myself. Slop: Yu-Gi-Oh chain system might be the worst priority system in a TCG. Prop: Every single decision you make at every priority window feels super impactful. Miss one and you basically auto-lose, but still a good amount of skill expression, IMO.
