Pretty sure you have gaps in domain knowledge about insurance business, or banking, or IoT etc etc. You know, the things that people actually work with. Roughly zero times I´ve had the need to use FFT in any system I´ve been involved with.

Is anyone sitting on a semi large Cobol codebase? :) I need some reference code for something realistic. Any domain, but not trivial size. #cobol

And that is perfectly fine, if I can have the smartest person in the world level of intelligence in my iPhone app. that´s more than good enough....

We're happy to start sponsoring the Spectre.Console project! It is a #dotnet library that makes it easier to create beautiful console applications by giving you access to standard components you may find in a CLI experience. Go check it out! duende.link/sp3ctr3

Terminal devs. how do you detect shift + enter in a terminal app? stdin doesn´t receive that as a special thing, no? I´m stuck in "Ink" (react for terminal) and it´s just too frustrating.. #nodejs #react #ink #terminal hoping someone picks up on this :)

How are untyped languages still a thing? bloody hell the mess, if property is a string blah, if it is a function bleeh, now we pass the wrong branch of an object tree into the wrong function, go go. "akchually it´s dynamically typed... " This is me rage quitting for a moment..

A bit of progress on my toy CLI coding agent. github.com/asynkron/OpenA… It´s been a pretty interesting experience; Trying to limit hallucinations. The insanity of CLI. A reminder how much I dislike JS..... #nodejs #ai #agentic #cli

You don't "walk" You just push the ground and it pushes you forward. You push the ground -> the ground pushes back (3rd law of motion) -> you move forward

Some reactions to my post are "wow, I'll never use Ghostty since you use AI." That's fine, I really don't care. But my friends, if you plan on avoiding all software that had any AI assistance in its dev, I have really bad news for you about the general software ecosystem.

Codex is so good, and is going to get so amazing. I am having a hard time imagining what creating software at the end of 2026 is going to look like.

Any OpenAI Developers OpenAI devs/users here? OpenAI allow you to send a json tool schema on how it should should format command response payloads. Is this just "best effort" and there is no way to "really" get the response in the correct format? Sometimes it´s very creative

Anyone remember the very old "Terrarium" app for .NET? Imagine this with AI bot generated code :-) Add some real world env simulation, and you could train drones on this.

warp code feels like a combination of a cli agent and cursor-style ux design it's a cli that looks like an ide because it gives you: - editor code view - project explorer - one-click to view command output - switch between agent/cli - context/credit spend tracking - task lists
