We are loving the inventiveness of some of our children as they make walking to school their focus! #NationalWalkingMonth #WalkThisMay #WalkToSchool #BanPavementParking #BetterCrossings

To enhance their study of World War One, Year 6 have been fortunate enough to have been joined by Bill Smith from Great War Workshops. We had a wonderful day working with him and exploring his vast collection of artefacts. #greatwarworkshop

Year 4 have been combining their historical enquiry skills and Voice 21 talk tactics to explore a box of prehistoric artefacts and decide as a class what each of them are. #voice21

To celebrate World Children's Day, the children have come to school in non-uniform wearing something that makes them happy. Some have come in matching clothes to their friends, others in their favourite football kits...and some have simply come in their pyjamas.

On Friday, all children in school received a wooden peg to create a Christmas decoration for our tree. We run this competition every year and always have the best decorated tree around. We can't wait to see what the children come up with this year!

Year 5 had a fabulously festive Forest School afternoon yesterday, where they used natural materials to create beautiful Christmas wreaths. Well done Kestrels, they look fantastic!

Year 1 have been reading Supertato and last week, they received a letter from the Tesco manager, saying that lots of Evil Peas were on the loose and we needed to trap them. So that's exactly what the children did! They managed to successfully trap the Evil Peas in jelly.

We now have 15 clubs across school that our children can join, including some more niche ones such as crochet, Warhammer and clog dancing. We really do have something for everyone!
