The choir is sounding glorious in their final rehearsal. What better piece to sing in the chapel of St Peter's College than Palestrina’s ‘Tu es Petrus’?

The Rodolfus Choir is back together this week as it prepares for a concert and recording of Cecilia McDowall’s secular choral music. Come and hear the choir in concert tomorrow in St Gabriel's Church Pimlico: therodolfusfoundation.org.uk/tickets/2025/4…

Rodolfus Choir epic day of recording their album of music by Cecilia McDowall. (Conducted by the fabulous Elinor Cooper )

Day 2 of choir recording sessions and we have just finished recording Cecilia McDowall’s wonderful Shakespeare settings, ‘When time is broke’, under the expert direction of Elinor Cooper. First performed by the BBC Singers and David Hill in 2016, we’ve loved the challenge!

That’s a wrap - after a busy third day of sessions, the Rodolfus Choir has completed its recording of Cecilia McDowall’s glorious secular choral music. It was wonderful to have Cecilia with us this week, and we can’t wait to share our recordings with you in 2026! Oxford Music
