Today almost 80 girls aged 12-16 visited our faculty and TU Delft Civil Engineering and Geosciences during #girlsday2024 ! They got to experience how valuable and fun a technical education can be #WomenInTech VHTO

Yesterday was a success! We talked earthquakes, showed the lab, we broke rocks with this nice little portable setup, and all managed to identify carbonate, quartz and salt in water and vinegar, and then my colleague Lot linked acid to sustainable mining 😎 #Girlsday VHTO

Today we prepared materials for 40 high school girls who will come and solve a fluid-rock related riddle tomorrow, to try and generate enthusiasm for engineering and STEM VHTO #GirlsDay

a quantative check of changed permeability after cold water flow through a hot system! This week data analysis to see if he has now *really* done all experiments in his PD..😎🤓
