The Rochdale Diagnostic Unit based in the Outpatients Dept at Rochdale Infirmary has opened providing a service to Urology patients undergoing day case clinic procedures. The service will be delivered jointly by the Day Case Nursing Team & a specialist, dedicated theatre team.

The Oasis Unit at Rochdale Infirmary has played a big role in the Frontrunner Programme – it inspired the creation of a similar mini-ward at Fairfield General Hospital, Bury, and is also trialing a part-time mental health nurse on the team, supporting discharges quickly. #NHS
