Spoiler alert, people don't sincerely believe anything they endorse in surveys.

As I keep on saying: survey experiment research may be dead soon. It is one thing to say you "believe" sth, it is an entirely different thing to act in ways that are consistent with the conspiracy theory in every day life. Deeds matter more than words. But words can cause harm.

Note to self: in addition to attention checks ✔️ and bot checks ✔️ include sincerity checks in survey design ✔️
