Pag ganito nakikita ko, feeling ko sinayang ko yung oras, yung taon na tinrabaho ko sa gobyerno para sa pagsulong ng interes ng mga biker, mga commuter at mga di naka-kotse. Kung alam ko na rin uurong din tayo pabalik sa dati, edi sana nagpayaman nalang ako sa pribadong sektor.

Pag ganito nakikita ko, feeling ko sinayang ko yung oras, yung taon na tinrabaho ko sa gobyerno para sa pagsulong ng interes ng mga biker, mga commuter at mga di naka-kotse.

What gave me cause for optimism is that Torre actually gave the correct answer here. He says that bike lanes are more of a need on the "big" roads like EDSA and Commonwealth. That's what you need in order to build a complete bike network and make bike commuting visible

Anti-bike people often say they're not against bike lanes, but they only want them on small side streets. All that is is pushing bike commuting out of sight and out of usefulness. It's the wide, high-speed roads that need bike lanes in order to become truly multimodal

A lot of people say "you'll never get me to ride a bike/take public transit/etc, how do you expect to convince everyone?" We don't need to convince everyone. We just need to find 5-10% of society more reasonable than you, and things will get better, even for you.
