Melville lead Mt Albert Ponsonby 1-0 at half time. Goal to Joel McMullan who touched home a header across from new boy Rob Mcnicholas. On the stroke of half time Max Tommy saved a penalty.

Melville have recorded their best win of the northern league season with a 3-0 away victory over Hibiscus Coast with first goals of the season to Robbie McNicholas, Jama Boss and Josh Galletly (pictured).

Centreback Robbie McNicholas (pictured) opened the scoring in the seventh minute v Hibiscus Coast. It was Coast's first loss since the opening round of the season, and their first at home.

A second successive 3-0 away win - this time against Ngaruawahia - has thrust Melville up to 3rd on the northern league championship table. Goals from Jama Boss, a cracking finish from Robbie McNicholas (pictured being congratulated here) and one from skipper Joel McMullan.
