To clarify, it’s not about the need to close; we support this and have done all year. Of course health comes first. It’s about being given only 9 hours notice. Our team had been in since 8am prepping for NYE - even a day’s extra notice would’ve made a huge difference.

We were so ready for our new batch of students Ashburton Cookery and the Covid safe kitchens are looking amazing. Myself and the team are gutted that we couldn’t get going after all the work we put in but understand the need to stay safe. We will be back as soon as we are allowed 👨‍🍳👊🏻

Well it’s been great to be back with our accredited culinary diploma courses but we don’t have too long to wait now to open our doors for Ashburton Cookery to inspire leisure customers in line with government guidance and indoor hospitality reopening. Just 3 more weekends to go.👍

So tonight is the second night of our Ashburton Cookery charity dining evenings and for the first time in years I’m going to be dining with Mrs H and friends. We couldn’t resist the menu that Rob Spencer has put together with Indian inspired flavours. Bring it on 👍
