It's 2024 people. These numbers are ridiculously absurd. Currently incarcerated folks are humans too and deserve to live with dignity and respect. One life lost due to system neglect is one too many.

This bill will eliminate the deadline by which people must apply to reduce old felony convictions for low level, non-violent crimes to misdemeanors under voter-approved Proposition 47.

The CA Assembly just approved #AB567 !

The bill is tied to SB 731 and would allow people the ability to get confirmation upon request that an old conviction on their record had been permanently expunged.
