We and our fellow labs had a great time at the UNC Science Expo this weekend sharing our science with the community! We had microscopes available for folks to learn about the use of model organisms and fluorescence in science. Even Ramses came to learn about "glowing worms"!

I’m happy to announce our collaborative work with Villeda Lab, where we found that we can rejuvenate memory in 2 yr old (!!!) mice by activating a conserved Gaq protein in the hippocampus. TWO YEAR OLD MICE! (like a 70-80yo human) biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
